MG University B.Tech. Lab Marks: The Controller of Examinations, MG University, has asked the principals to furnish the mark sheets of the B Tech lab examinations conducted during February 2008, at the earliest. The third semester MBA March/April 2008 Examinations will commence on March 14. Examiners’ Meet: Final Year B.Sc. (Model Annual) march 2008 practical examinations will commence on March 24. A meeting of the examiners of practicals has been scheduled at 11 am on March 18 at the University Assembly Hall. Exam Results: Results of the following examinations have been published: First Year BSc MLT degree examinations held during September 2007; First year B.Sc. Medical Microbiology degree examinations held during October 2007; First and third semester MA Cinema and TV (Regular and Supplementary) degree examinations held during November 2007; First semester BSc Information Technology degree examinations held during April 2007 and third semester BSc (IT) degree examinations held during March 2007. Calicut University Talent Search: The Mathematics Talent Search and Nurture Programme (MTS and NP) will be held from May 12 to 31. The programme is for students of the universities in the State. It has been modelled along the Mathematics Training and Talent Search Programme (MT and TS) organised by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) at level I. The academic content of the programme will be of the level of BSc (Mathematics) course, mainly Foundations, Real Analysis, Algebra and Geometry. Students eligible for this programme will be those who have just completed the B.Sc. final year and are interested in pursuing Mathematics at a higher level. In exceptional cases students of other courses will also be considered. The selection will be purely on merit.
