Constable run over by lorry

DAVANGERE: A police constable died after being run over by a lorry on National Highway 13 near Donnehalli village on the outskirts of Jagalur town on Tuesday. Khalander (41) was returning home after completing night patrol when he was run over. The Jagalur police have arrested the driver of the lorry. — Staff Correspondent
