Faizabad: Two elders have lost their sight allegedly due to medical negligence after they underwent an operation in an eye camp in Gosaiganj town here. Jhinnu Laal (60) and Prem Das Jiswal (65), who had problem seeing things clearly before the surgery, complained that they were not able to see anything at all after it. “Actually an operation camp was held in Gosaiganj on January 3 where 25 people were operated. These two cases of complete blindness have come up just two days back. We are investigating the matter,” Chief Medical Officer, Faizabad Dr Vinod Kumar said.
