BHUBANESWAR: The Sambalpur police nabbed two hardcore cadres of CPI (Maoist) who were involved in several violent incident like murders, arson and kidnapping. The two naxalites were identified as Bhagaban Jhankar, 28, and Govind Jal, 22. Addressing a press conference at Sambalpur, Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar said the cadres had carried surveillance for a possible attack on Bargarh district armoury. The plan, however, could not be materialised by the naxalites, Mr. Kumar said.
