Farmers seek details on loan waiver

Sangareddy: Several farmer leaders and Adarsha Rytu awardees met district Collector Piyush Kumar and urged him to launch an awareness campaign in the district on how to benefit from the waiver. He assured that the AP Farmers Federation would publish pamphlets containing pertinent information about the waiver. Another group of sugarcane farmers from Zaheerabad met the Collector and urged him to direct the sugar mill managements to cough up the arrears at the earliest. – Staff Reporter
