Online support for students

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: “e-shikshana.com,” an online education support system, was launched here on Friday. This system will help English-medium SSLC students, and Pre-University students who are appearing for the Common Entrance Test (CET).

H.S. Dayananda, Managing Director, Daya Solutions Private Limited, which has developed the portal, told presspersons here on Monday that the online system will be extended to Kannada-medium students also from the 2008-09 academic year.

He said: “e-shikshana.com was an approach towards e-learning based on test-learn-test model. It will enhance the skills of students by preparing them for their annual examination.” He said the website has been developed by a panel of experts in the education field and also considering suggestions from students. It deals with core subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Arithmetic and Algebra.
