Chintalapalli Nagaraj dead

BANGALORE: Chintallapalli Nagaraja Rao (78) died here on Sunday. He was one of the students of Asthana Vidwan Chintalapalli Venkatarao. He was also student of Chintalapalli Seshagiri Rao. He had given Carnatic music concerts in various parts of south India and had trained several disciples. For his services to classical music, he was awarded the “Sangeetha Parampara Nidhi,” the “Kalabhushana” and the R.K. Padmanabha Dasa awards.
