College told to return bonds

KOCHI: The Admission Supervisory Committee for Professional Colleges on Tuesday directed the management of West Fort Nursing College, Thrissur, to return the bonds for compulsory service secured from its B.Sc. nursing students of the 2002-03 batch. The committee also instructed the management to release the certificates and mark lists of the students withheld by it.
The management of Labour India College of Teacher Education, Marangattuppally, informed the committee that it had paid its student, P.C. Aansy, Rs.29,000 owed by it. Following this, the committee declared the dispute between the student and the management settled.
The management of Thrikkakkara Model Engineering College placed before the committee the order issued to it by the Institute of Human Resource Development to return the caution deposit of Rs.1.25 lakh received from Santhosh Philip who had secured admission for MBBS in the college. The committee directed the management to return the amount as per the order.
