Pinarayi sees propaganda

KANNUR: Communist Party of India (Marxist) State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan has said the ‘anti-communist media syndicate’ is trying to enter the literary publication arena. Speaking after releasing a book, Pallikkunnu, authored by writer T. Padmanabhan at a function organised by DC Books here on Tuesday, Mr. Vijayan said some media houses were giving special importance to anti-communist propaganda writings in their periodicals. Conventional literary critics who had accused writers inspired by the communist movement of being propaganda writers were silent about this, he said.

Film director Ranjith received the first copy of the book.
