Palakkad enters semifinals

MALAPPURAM: Palakkad entered the semifinals of the State senior football championship, beating Kozhikode 6-5 via the tie-breaker. The teams were level at 2-2 at the end of the regulation period.

Rahul scored both the goals for Kozhikode, while Abdul Hakkim and Abdul Noushad were the scorers for Palakkad. — Principal Correspondent
