Singapore national arrested

NEW DELHI: A 30-year-old Singaporean national has been arrested by Customs officials at Indira Gandhi International Airport here for allegedly being in possession of 7 kg of heroin.

Irwan Bin Hassim was about to board a KLM flight to Rotterdam via Amsterdam on Tuesday when his suspicious activities led the Customs officials to intercept him for questioning. On careful examination of his suitcase, they discovered false cavities on its upper and lower side, in which 7 kg of a blackish substance had been concealed. The stuff was later found to be hashish.
