RWAs complain about regular power cuts

NEW DELHI: Even as the power distribution company BSES assured consumers of uninterrupted power supply during the ongoing Class X and XII Board examinations, residents’ welfare associations from several parts of Delhi have written to Power Minister A. K. Walia complaining against power outages.

In a letter to Mr. Walia, RWAs from Karol Bagh, Old Rajendra Nagar, Krishna Nagar and Malviya Nagar have sought an end to regular power cuts in their areas, particularly during exams. “Despite assurances by the Power Minister , power cuts are a regular feature every day ,” said Atul Goyal, convenor of URJA .
