VISAKHAPATNAM: An unidentified man aged around 30 years was found hanging in a bus parked at the RTC Complex on Tuesday morning. According to two-town SI K.S.N. Konda, the RTC bus came from Palakonda to the city around midnight on Monday. The driver parked the bus in the complex and left along with the conductor after locking the door. The bus was scheduled to leave at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. When the cleaning staff opened the door and went inside they were shocked to see a youth hanging inside the bus. The RTC officials lodged a complaint with the police. Mr. Konda said the youth had gained entry into the bus through a window and took the extreme step. A telephone book, found in his pocket had some phone numbers, but did not bear his name. Some of the men listed in the book had responded but were yet to turn up to identify the body. The body was preserved at the KGH mortuary. Investigation is on. House burgledThieves broke into a house at MVP Colony and decamped with 35 tolas of gold and some silver ornaments on Tuesday. T. Swarnalatha, a lecturer in Dr. V.S. Krishna College, was staying along with her husband, an employee of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, at MVP Colony. They locked the house around 10 a.m. and left for their offices on Tuesday. Around 4.30 p.m. when their maidservant went to the house, she found the door open and on going inside she saw the almirah ransacked.
