Ecosan toilet facilities

KANCHEEPURAM: Fourteen toilet facilities built with financial assistance from Japanese Students Foundation at Kovalam were thrown open for public use on Tuesday.

The Consul-General of Japan, Kazuo Minagawa, commended the involvement of 15 students from Komazawa and Keio Universities in Tokyo in execution of the project and thereby creating awareness among public to keep the coastal village in Kancheepuram district clean and tidy.

The students worked along with the villagers in building these ecosan toilets.
