Court directive to Centre, State

Hyderabad: A Division Bench of the A.P. High Court comprising Chief Justice A. R. Dave and Justice TCH. Surya Rao on Tuesday granted four weeks time to the Union and State governments to respond to the writ petition filed by tribals on rehabilitation in the Polavaram project, in non-agency areas .The writ was filed by ‘Samatha’, voluntary organisation working in tribal areas, The petitioner was represented by Samatha director Ravi.
