Governor Rameshwar Thakur and Chancellor of the Universities in Karnataka has appointed G.B. Mahadevappa of Bangalore and D.L. Prabhakara of Adyar, Mangalore, as members of the Executive Council of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The members will hold the post for a period of three years or till the reconstitution of the Executive Council.
