Indiawood, an international exhibition of woodworking machinery, held in Bangalore recently has succeeded in generating sales of over Rs. 1,000 crore.

According to a press release, woodworking machineries, tools, products and accessories worth over Rs. 1,000 crore were sold in five days, and eventual business of the Indiawood is expected to touch Rs. 4,000 crore. Indian wood working machinery and allied companies reported a business between $ 6 million and $ 7 million.
