Aid for elderly persons

PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry Society for the Care of Aged (PONCARE) would distribute financial assistance to elderly persons towards purchase of spectacles and hearing aids. According to a press release, persons above 60 years and falling in the Below the Poverty Line category were members of PONCARE.

Senior citizens who wish to avail of the assistance should receive an annual income of not exceeding Rs. 30,000. For further details, contact PONCARE, No. 15, First cross street, Brindavanam, Puducherry – 605 013. — Staff Reporter
