Three killed in accidents

Rourkela: Three persons died in two accidents and a youth drowned in Orissa’s Sundergarh district, according to the police.

The driver and the helper of a tipper died on the spot on National Highway-23 when a truck hit it from behind at Thiaberna village on Wednesday.

In another case at Dumerbahal, a peon of a college was crushed to death by a truck when he was returning home in Sundergarh town.

Drowned

Sanjay Ekkar, 19, drowned while taking bath in the river at Laying village in the district. -PTI
