Protest on March 13

PUDUCHERRY: Functionaries of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, Meenavar Viduthalai Venkaigal, Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam and Makkal Urimai Kootamaippu on Thursday said that activists of their organisations would stage a peaceful protest before the Assembly here on March 13 to press for the resignation of Health Minister E. Valsaraj against whom a vigilance probe was conducted.

Organiser of Meenavar Viduthalai Venkaigal R. Mangai Selvam told reporters that it was not proper for Mr.Valsaraj, who also holds the Law portfolio, to continue in the cabinet when the inquiry was on. — Staff Reporter
