honour: M.S. Palanichamy, Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Open University, conferring a degree on a student of Sudharsan Engineering College in Pudukottai.

PUDUKOTTAI: Youths should shun their inhibitions and be ready to face the challenges to convert India into a superpower in the global scenario, the Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Open University M. S. Palanichamy said.

Speaking after conferring degrees on the students of Sudharsan Engineering College near here recently,

Dr. Palanichamy called upon them to develop skills for resolving challenges in the present-day scenario and stand up to face the competition ahead of them. The Chairman of the college V. K. Sundaram and its Principal R. Raghavan spoke.

In all, 136 students got their degree certificates. Ten outstanding students were honoured with gold and silver medals.
