KERC to inspect project site

BANGALORE: The State power regulator has decided to visit the location of the controversial Chamalapura thermal project near Mysore on March 20 for a spot-inspection.

KERC chairman K. P. Pandey announced this at a public hearing here on Thursday.

Earlier, he hinted that he might even hold a public hearing at the project site also. “When we (KERC members) go there, we will naturally hear the people,” he said.
