Power cut

DAVANGERE: There was power cut in the whole of Davangere city on Thursday between 7 p.m. and 8.45 p.m.

People were put to a lot of hardship owing to the unscheduled power cut. It particularly affected students busy preparing for the examinations.

The BESCOM officials said that they had to abide by the instruction of the Load Despatch Centre (LDC) in Bangalore which asked BESCOM office here to cut the power supply for certain hours. — Staff Correspondent
