Lawyers boycott court

Nagercoil: Lawyers boycotted court proceedings here on Thursday urging the Government to withdraw the false case filed against their counterpart, Rasalraj, in connection with a hit-and-run case in which three officials of the Highways Department sustained injuries.

According to sources, three persons, including the driver of the car Senthil Kumar, were arrested. To protest against the false cases foisted against Rasalraj, lawyers staged a rod roko in front of the district court. Owing to this traffic was affected for more than two hours.
