Fire at garment unit godown

BANGALORE: Fire broke out in a godown of readymade garment unit near Kudlu Gate off Hosur Road on Wednesday night.

According to Fire and Emergency Services personnel, the fire broke out in the second godown of Arvind Mills.

The security officer of the unit informed the firemen around 9.30 p.m. The firemen are involved in putting off the fire. Eleven fire tenders have been sent to the unit. The cause of the fire is not yet known. This is the second fire reported in same area.
