Second phaseThe estimated cost of the second phase is Rs.2,200 crore, to be arranged through the Power Finance Corporation and other financial institutions. Mr. Chaudhary said the fuel for the plant would be supplied from the coal mines at Parsa East and Kante Basan in Chhattisgarh. The foundation stone for the two units was laid on December 8, 2005.
