Protest dharna by NPCC workers

NEW DELHI: A protest dharna was organised by employees of the National Projects Construction Corporation Limited at Jantar Mantar here on Wednesday to voice their concern over their “grievance regarding long-pending wage revision”. According to All-India NPCC Employees’ Federation general secretary Shiv Sharan Tiwari, “the NPCC is a sick public sector undertaking, but from the salaries, wages and perks of the Chairman-cum-Managing Director it is clear that the organisation is faltering only for the workmen and other junior staffers.” “The pay revision of the workmen is being linked to revival of the NPCC,” he added.
