Narrow win for Artha Options

BANGALORE: Artha Options posted a narrow 10-run win over FIC in the Premier Cup quarterfinals of the Polycom Twenty20 cricket tournament played over the weekend.

Artha Options made 176, Pradeep top scoring with 61, and restricted FIC to 166 for five in 20 overs. In an earlier match, Artha Options defeated AOL by 24 runs.

In another match, an unbeaten century by Ajit (108 n.o.) went in vain for Aegis, which lost to 24/7 Customer by five wickets.

Artha Options 176 for seven in 20 overs (Pradeep 61, Sunil 46, Mahesh four for 31) bt FIC 166 for five in 20 overs (Srinivas 62, Prathap 41).

Praxair 187 for three in 20 overs (Ravi 89 n.o., S. Gourav 51 n.o.) lost to AOL 188 for four in 18.4 overs (Vikram 50 n.o., Drawin 37, Sandeep 29).

TCS 139 for seven in 20 overs (Srikanth 37, Nagarajan 30 n.o., Moinuddin 20) lost to Axis Design 142 for one in 145.2 overs (Praveen 54, Arun 46 n.o., Srinath 30).

Aegis 178 for four in 20 overs (Ajit 108 n.o., Rajaith 31, Makrand 21) lost to 24/7 Customer 180 for five (Sameer 51 n.o., Abhishek 41, Nevin 35).

Oracle SSI 178 (Mahesh 52, Nithin 25) bt ABS 116 in 19.1 overs (Nanaiah 36, Nagaraj 29, Savanth three for 24).
