History seminar today

MALAPPURAM: Historia, the Fraternity of History Students of Government College, Malappuram, will organise a seminar on the ‘marginalised and history’ at the college on Friday. The seminar will mark the farewell to be bidden to 12 teachers who retire this month. K. Rajan from Victoria College, Palakkad, will present a paper on ‘Therukkot tradition of Kerala,’ and Manoj P.S. from Government College, Thrissur, a paper on ‘marginalisation and representation of Dalits in the cultural scenario of Kerala.’ istrict Collector M.C. Mohandas will give away mementoes.
