134 bootleggers held

About 135 cases were booked during an intensive drive against illicit arrack distillation in the Central Zone on Wednesday and 134 bootleggers, including 19 women, were arrested.

About 7,662 litres of illicit arrack, 1,100 litres of liquor from Puducherry and 1,170 litres of toddy were seized and destroyed during the operation.
