“Appoint temporary staff to give pension”

PUDUCHERRY: The Confederation of Central and State Government Pensioners Association on Friday urged the territorial administration to appoint temporary staff to disburse pension in view of the situation arising out of the strike by lower and upper division clerks.

Association secretary S. Narayanan, in a statement here, said the government should ensure that the beneficiaries received their pension. — Staff Reporter
