Ration shop salesman suspended

VIRUDHUNAGAR: A salesman of Kodikulam ration shop on Friday was placed under suspension for irregularities in sale of rice. Following complaints from residents of Kammapatti during an inspection, Collector V. Chandrasekaran ordered the Srivilliputtur Tahsildar to conduct an enquiry. The Tahsildar report said the salesman had faked receipts for 104 kg of rice. Based on the report, the Collector ordered his suspension.
