Demand to transfer case to CBI

PUDUCHERRY: Members of various political parties and social organisations have submitted a memorandum to Lieutenant-Governor Mukut Mithi demanding the transfer of a case against Health Minister E. Valsaraj to the Central Bureau of Investigation.

In the memorandum, representatives of nine political parties and social organisations said Mr. Valsaraj should be removed from the Ministry on moral grounds. — Staff Reporter
