MLA, Councillors detained

NEW DELHI: Puran Chand Yogi, MLA, and Municipal Councillors Mool Chand Chawla and Suraj Kumar were detained on Friday on charges of interfering with the sealing drive being carried out by a team of municipal officials at Rajendra Nagar here.

Joining local residents in their protest against the sealing drive, the three were arrested for not allowing municipal functionaries to carry out their duty. They were later let off.
