Rs. 497.58 lakh for road works

NEW DELHI: Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways T.R. Baalu has approved Rs. 497.58 lakh for road improvement works on National Highway-209 in Tamil Nadu.

A stretch of this highway in Sathyamangalam town limit in Erode district would be strengthened.

NH-209 is an inter-State road connecting major cities and towns like Dindigul, Palani, Coimbatore, Sathyamangalm in Tamil Nadu and Chamraj Nagar, Kollegal, Bangalore in Karnataka. — Special Correspondent
