CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would be visiting Mauritius on the invitation of Prime Minister Naveen Chandra Ramgoolam to take part in the National Day celebrations. Talking to media persons here on Friday, Mr. Hooda said he would represent India as a guest of honour. The invitation had been extended to him keeping in view the developing economy and glorious development saga of Haryana, he added. Detailing the unprecedented progress made by the State during the last three years, he said that equal development of the urban as well as rural areas of the State had been ensured and the vision was to make Haryana the No. One State in the country. Mr. Hooda, who was flanked by Power Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala, said the “Dhanyavad Rally” being organised in Delhi to thank the Central Government for announcing the massive loan waiver scheme for farmers would be a grand success as people of Haryana were very keen to participate. About the State Government’s demand for setting up a separate High Court for Haryana, he said the ultimate decision depended on the Centre. Interestingly, Union Law Minister H. R. Bharadwaj had made it clear at a function at Jhajjar on Thursday that there was no proposal to set up a separate High Court for Haryana.
