Dhanalakshmi wins title

BANGALORE: Dhanalakshmi Rice, with a score of 27 points gross, won the title in the Ladies golf tournament, conducted by the Bangalore Golf Club, to commemorate International Women’s Day here on March 6. Madhavi Reddy (23 pts) was the runner-up.

In the 0-24 handicap section, Bina Sreedhar (36 pts) nett was the winner while Usha Joseph (35 pts) was the runner-up.

In the 25-36 handicap section, Kamlesh Pahwa (46 pts) was declared the winner and Mini Kuruvilla (40 pts) took the second place.
