Pranjala in last four

HYDERABAD: Y. Pranjala entered the semifinals of the girls’ under-10 category with an 8-1 win over S. Manasi Reddy in the Sun-Jay Tennis Academy mini and sub-junior tennis tournament here on Friday.

The results: Boys: Under-10 (quarterfinals): Rawal bt Gyaneshwar 8-2; C. Arjun bt Suleiman 8-1; B. Vaishnav bt T. Akhil 8-1; Y. Sairam bt Pinku 8-3.

Under-12 (second round): S.A. Wahab bt S. Sashank 8-3; Numan Hyder bt Satwik 8-0; Rawal bt M. Nikhil 8-2; B. Vaishnav bt T. Akhil 8-1; S. Akshay bt C. Tarun Anirudh 8-5; Y. Rahul bt Riyank Varma 8-3; Yash Puri bt Taquiddin 8-4.

Girls (quarterfinals): Under-10: Y. Pranjala bt S. Manasi Reddy 8-1; B. Harshitha Rao bt P. Vedhatri 8-0; G. Srutha Kirti bt Sheikh Umera 8-1; S. Nidhi bt Mary Peter 8-4.

Under-12: B. Amrutha bt Hanisha Vasi Reddy 8-4; Y. Pranjala bt L. Aishwarya 8-3; K. Srija bt Roshni Datla 8-5; G. Srutha Kirthi bt M. Shivani 8-1.

Goalless draw

EME Centre and State Bank of Hyderabad were locked in a goalless draw in the V. Hanumantha Rao Super Cup prize money football tournament.

ICL tickets sale

The sale of tickets for the Indian Cricket League matches to be held at the floodlit Lal Bahadur Stadium from April 15 will commence from Saturday. The tickets in denominations of Rs. 200 and Rs. 500 are available at Music World Centres in Banjara Hills, Dilsukhnagar, Begumpet, Kukatpally, Lal Bahadur Stadium and Walden Booklinks (Begumpet).

Match drawn

Bolarum Sporting Club and Tarnaka Football Club were involved in a 1-1 draw in the CCOB Cup prize money football tournament at the Quli Qutub Shah Stadium here.

Bolarum Sporting shot into lead in the 28th minute through Sridhar’s goal. In the second session, Tarnaka rallied to score the equaliser through Ravi Raju in the 55th minute.
