21 TTD staff transferred

TIRUMALA: For the first time in the history of the temple administration TTD Executive Officer K.V. Ramanachary late on Thursday night issued orders transferring 21 employees working at Tirumala in various cadres to Tirupati on charge of corruption.

Perturbed with the growing criticism that accommodation at cottages and guest houses was being ‘sold in black’ at Tirumala, TTD chief vigilance and security officer Harikumar conducted surprise raids simultaneously at various cottage allotment counters at Tirumala on February 11 and 12.
