Residents oppose bar

Ramya Residency Welfare Association has opposed the proposal for sanction of a bar and restaurant at Arilova junction opposite their apartment.

There are 40 flats in the apartment complex and another 150 flats in another complex next to it.

There is also a Kalyana Mandapam and a temple nearby, according to a statement issued by the association.

The association members appealed to the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner not to accord permission to the bar in the residential area as it could lead to law and order problems besides causing problems to women and children.
