17 cases of exam malpractice detected

CHENNAI: Seventeen cases of malpractice were detected on Friday in the Class XII English-II examination.
Seven students in Villupuram, five in Cuddalore, two in Tiruvannamalai and one each in Ramanthapuram, Vellore and Tiruchi were caught trying to copy, officials of the Directorate of Government Examinations said.
CBSE Class XII students who took Physics on Friday said they found the paper very long. “Usually, we would be able to finish in two hours and 45 minutes…but today, it was very long. Some of my friends did not complete the paper,” a student said.
