Nasir custody: petition on Monday

HYDERABAD: A local court will on Monday hear arguments over the petition filed by the city police seeking custody of Raziuddin Nasir, a Hyderabadi terror suspect arrested by Karnataka police and brought to the city on prisoner transit warrant.

The police hope interrogation of Nasir would provide crucial clues relating to the twin blasts case. Sources said that police are planning to conduct polygraph and other tests on Nasir to elicit information from him.

The police would also move the court on Monday to take Muthsaim Billa, whose arrest on Wednesday triggered violence in Saidabad, into custody.
