Bangalore: To mark the International Women’s Day, a circular has been sent to all government agencies to hoist the flag, called Ananya.The flag depicts the colours of a muted rainbow, under the Indian national tricolour, against a white background. The colours of the rainbow signify freedom and new hopes. The various colours represent expanding horizons, new aspirations, skills and the yearning for true emancipation.
