Man gets life sentence for raping minor

New Delhi: Terming a man who raped his minor sister-in-law as an “inhuman and cruel” person, a court here has sentenced him to life imprisonment on a complaint filed by his own wife.

“Nature of injuries caused by accused to the complainant reveals him to be an inhuman and cruel person. He subjected an extremely young girl of 11 years to his lust and also caused brutal injuries to her... therefore he does not deserve any lenient approach,” Additional Sessions Judge Narottam Kaushal said.
