Plea to cancel CET

PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry unit of the Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam on Saturday urged the government to cancel the Common Entrance Test for professional courses.

Party president Logu. Ayyappan, in a statement here, said the abolition of the CET would put an end to the apprehensions of the public with regard to the criteria to be adopted in the selection of candidates for the professional courses in the coming academic year. — Special Correspondent
