Ayurveda treatment package planned

Staff Reporter

ALAPPUZHA: The Santhigiri Ayurveda-Sidha Vaidyasala and Panchakarma Centre is launching a summer health treatment package at its Alappuzha and Chengannur centres this summer.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Vaidyasala authorities said the package would combine the traditional treatment modes of ‘uzhichil’ and ‘shirodhara’ and was aimed as a precautionary step against diseases and ailments of the body that are synonymous with summer. The package, which is available in different modes ranging from three days to 21 days, would be extended to all Santhigiri hospitals across the country.

An NRI Family Health Care Scheme for non-resident Indians and their families in India was also being launched shortly at the Chengannur centre. The summer package would be made available round the globe with help of Santhigiri’s Middle East Health Movement, they said.

Contact telephone numbers 0479-3200025, 0477-3200724 and 94461-50248 for details.
