Three DJB workers detained

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Councillor from Vivek Vihar, Priti, on Saturday “detained” three Delhi Jal Board sewerage department workers accusing them of neglecting maintenance work in Dilshad Garden.

The Councillor said she was forced to take the extreme step after all her complaints to the Jal Board fell on deaf ears. However, a senior DJB official said: “Our workers had gone there to redress her complaint but she locked them up in her office on the pretext of offering them tea. The workers were released after a few hours.
