Arrangements in place for ‘Kalyanamasthu’ today

VIZIANAGARAM: All arrangements for the TTD’s mass marriage programme (Kalyanamasthu) at kalynamandapams in the 12 Assembly constituencies in the district have been made, according to Zonal Officer and district in-charge of the programme K. Harnath Reddy.
At a press conference late on Friday evening, Mr. Reddy said that 524 eligible couples had registered their names.
The number of applications received from Naguru was 135 followed by 126 from Salur, Parvathipuram 46, S.Kota 33 Bobbili 31, Vizianagaram 30, Gajapathinagaram 27, Bhogapuram 25, Uttarapalli 20, Sathiwada 16, Therlam 15 and Cheepurupalli 10.
TTD Dharma Prachar Parishat coordinator K. Samba Murty, Manager S.K.C.V. Sarma and others were present.
