JAMSHEDPUR: Indian archers won 15 of the 16 gold medals on offer on the second day of the three-day second South Asian archery championship at the JRD Tata Sports Complex here on Saturday. Nepal won the other gold. In the FITA round competition where the archers shot 144 arrows over four distances — 90, 70, 50 and 30 in the men’s section and 70, 60, 50 and 30m in the women’s section — Prem Prasad Pun was the lone foreign archer to stop a clean sweep by the Indians. Pun took the 30m distance gold medal. For V. Pranitha (women’s recurve) and National champion Namita Yadav (women’s compound), it was a clean sweep of all the four gold medals.
