Special Correspondent

The TRS chief will carry out yatra in one district every day

HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president K. Chandrasekhar Rao will undertake a bus yatra covering all Telangana districts from March 24 to April 2 to explain to people at the grass-root level the circumstances leading to the resignation of party members from the Lok Sabha, Assembly and the Legislative Council.

His programme was finalised at the executive meeting of TRS here on Saturday.

He would carry out the yatra in one district every day. Simultaneously, the party would conduct meetings in all tribal hamlets of the region during the ten days.

Briefing reporters about the outcome of the meeting, Mr. Rao said the mass contact programme in the wake of the resignations would commence from Korutla in Karimnagar district on March 15. Two days later, a `Maha garjana’ would be organised at Mahbubnagar.

After his bus yatra, the party would focus on its foundation day rally at Parade grounds here on April 27.

The permission for the programme from defence authorities was obtained, Mr. Rao said.
